1. Identify the question(s) or inquiry that guided your sustained investigation.

Why do we as a society associate clothing (styles, textures, and colors) with gender?

2. Describe how your sustained investigation shows evidence of practice, experimentation, and revision guided by your question(s) or inquiry.

In my first piece I created a see through top out of tulle. It was a material I had never worked with before, and was extremely difficult to work with. Since the material is see through, there is no room for error with my hems. I wanted to prove that it`s okay for men to wear see through pieces without it being seen as wearing women`s clothes or something feminine.

(Would look better on a model....hint hint I need one...) but my idea was based off of the expression "swimming in money," cause ya know...you wanna be so rich that you`re swimming in money, so I made a bikini out of monopoly money. The bikini bottoms are still in progress.

Billie Eilish Portrait

This is a portrait of Billie Eilish I painted. She`s one of my favorite musical artists, and I wanted to challenge myself by painting a realistic portrait. I tried painting techniques I learned over the course of this year, and really struggled with mixing paints. I`m colorblind, so finding the right shade was a big struggle for me.
