Billie Eilish Portrait

This is a portrait of Billie Eilish I painted. She`s one of my favorite musical artists, and I wanted to challenge myself by painting a realistic portrait. I tried painting techniques I learned over the course of this year, and really struggled with mixing paints. I`m colorblind, so finding the right shade was a big struggle for me.

It`s an avocado! Thanks!

This is one of my paintings for our final project. We were told to do something that would challenge us, so I decided to go out of my comfort zone, and draw something that wasn`t a person. Instead, I decided to paint some avocado`s in watercolor. I struggled with depth perception during this piece, but did my best to convey the protruding and extruding parts of this painting. The title of this piece "It`s an avocado! Thanks!" is inspired by a famous vine of a little kid getting an avocado for Christmas, and being very happy and genuinely grateful for it.

Tempura Batik

This is my tempura batik of a dog that I found on Pinterest. I really loved the colors in the picture, and was inspired by the floral pug. After I painted the dog, I was struggling to think of what to do for my background, that`s when it clicked in my head. Dog`s like bones, and they make paw prints, so I decided to do a mixture of both to make a pet themed print.

Black History Month Painting (Unfinished)

I used my thumbnail sketches to put together a drawing inspired by a picture of Louis Armstrong, but I never got around to painting it.
